We sell anything musical but our main trade is in second hand vinyl of all sizes, shapes and colour.

We try to cover all types of music and have a little (or more) of something for everyone with prices to cater for all budgets.

The shop is run by me, Sim, the owner and my trusty shop dog Olive along with the occasional help of a couple of my customers.

An amazing record shop with an incredible selection—pretty much every record you could want. The owner was genuinely lovely and incredibly helpful; nothing felt like too much trouble. He even cleaned the vinyl for me without hesitation, which was a really nice touch. I’d 100% recommend this shop. And as a bonus, there was a very cute dog too!

Fantastic record shop, would highly recommend. The small shop front belies the amount of stock inside, really great selection and all well laid out by artist or genre. The owner Sim is very personable and engages customers in discussions about music, he was also very helpful as upon my arrival at the shop I started browsing boxes at floor level and he immediately appeared with a stool to perch on, which was appreciated. The thing that struck though, is that due to the quantity of the stock, there's a lot that's not priced, however Sim was very transparent when offering a price, his approach also made it felt like there was no pressure. Will definitely visit again when next in Devon.

Great little shop. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable and the shop has a great atmosphere. You'll enjoy flipping through the boxes - there's more of them than you think considering the size of the place - as well as listening to the vinyl you're thinking of buying. I love popping in here to have a chat and get some great records (which are all VG+). Recommended!

Amazing record shop definitely worth visiting. Owner is very helpful and knowledgeable, very reasonable prices. I didn't even know it was there must have walked past it over 100 times over the past 20 years, but super glad I found it, has every genre from obituary to Elton John and beyond. Will definitely be re visiting to buy more lp's

I love a record shop, but find the big corporate ones soulless and overpriced. RichMix is a delightful antidote to all of that. Full of interesting and good quality records across a wide range of genres. Spent a very enjoyable hour or so lost in the racks. The owner is very knowledgeable and friendly, the shop feels like a labour of love and absolute treasure in Brixham.

What an amazing find. Vinyl Heaven!
The range, the quality, the decor, the ambience...and the Owner Sim has incredible knowledge, personality and offers faultless customer service. I spent an hour browsing before buying and never felt rushed. The exact opposite in fact. I was made incredibly welcome and Sim spent time introducing me to new artists, new genres and new vinyl delights. Next time, I'll allow more time and settle in for the afternoon.

We love music (though generally anything from the late 60’s through to the mid 70’s), and I love running the shop.

You’ll normally find me in a happy and helpful mood, I’ll probably talk too much and maybe take the Mick out of you, if I can............but it’s only bants.....honest !!!!!!!

This year is our 6th Birthday!

The Richmix Records shop is approaching it’s 6th birthday, having opened on 1st July 2020.

It been a huge enjoyment that’s exceeded my expectations and we have no plans to be going anywhere for the foreseeable future.

I do buy a small quantity of brand new records ( mostly the regular best sellers from past decades ) and I’ll happily buy in something, new or used, that I haven’t got.

And YES.......I do buy Vinyl Records, CDs and Cassette Tapes and anything else musical........it’s amazing how many times I get asked if I buy records in.......of course I do......I need them to sell to YOU !!!!!

That, I think is about all you need to know....the rest you can come and see for yourself !
